3. Agreement Terms
Scope of Services
Depending on the selected service, PathForward may provide educational consulting related to college and career exploration, academic planning, transfer planning, college application organization, FAFSA/financial-aid education, scholarship search strategy, student success planning, and related educational guidance. The exact activities and deliverables will be discussed with the client and reflected in the student action plan.
Client Responsibilities
The student and/or parent agrees to provide accurate information, meet agreed deadlines, attend scheduled sessions, complete assigned action items, and make final decisions regarding applications, enrollment, financial aid, scholarships, academic choices, and career choices.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
PathForward provides educational guidance and support but does not guarantee admission to any institution, acceptance into a program, scholarships, financial-aid awards, grades, graduation, transfer acceptance, employment, or any other outcome controlled by a school, government agency, employer, scholarship provider, or third party.
Independent Educational Consulting
PathForward is an independent educational consulting business. Unless expressly stated in writing, it is not acting on behalf of a school, college, university, government agency, scholarship provider, or financial-aid office.
Sensitive Information and Accounts
Clients should not provide PathForward with Social Security numbers, banking passwords, FSA ID passwords, school portal passwords, or other account credentials. When a process requires sensitive information, the student or parent should enter that information directly.
Confidentiality
PathForward will use reasonable care to keep client information private and will use it only as reasonably necessary to provide services, operate the business, comply with law, or protect safety and legal rights. Clients should review the Privacy & Confidentiality Notice included in the Client Starter Packet.
Payment / Scheduling
Payment, cancellation, rescheduling, refund, no-show, and package-expiration terms are governed by the Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy included in the Client Starter Packet and incorporated into this Agreement.
Termination
Either party may end the engagement by written notice. Amounts already earned for services provided remain due. Any refund for unused prepaid services, if applicable, will be determined under the refund policy and applicable law.
